Popsicle Nails

What's better than a cool Popsicle on a hot summer day? How about cool Popsicle nails? Here's what you'll need:

Red polish
Green polish
Pink polish
Blue Polish
Orange Polish
Tan or brown polish
White polish
Sparkly clear polish
Top/Base coat
Clear Tape

                                                                   Let's Begin!

Step 1: Add a base coat to protect your natural nails. Let dry completely.
Step 2: Place tap over the tips on your nails. Paint each nail a coat or two of each polish until opaque.
Step 3: Let your nails dry completely and remove tape. Paint the part of your nails where the tap was white. Let dry.
Step 4: Make a thin line of tan or brown polish on the white part to create a stick for the Popsicles. Tip: If you don't have brown, mix black, red, and yellow until you get the color you desire.
Step 5: When all is dry, put on a sparkly clear coat on your nails. Let that dry.
Step 6: Place a small amount of white nails polish on a corner of you nail to make it look like someone took a bite out of it.
Step 7: Let nails dry for 10-20 minutes, and place a clear top coat to make the design last as long as possible. Let that dry for 15-30 minutes and your done! Enjoy ;)

Newspaper Nails

Looks complicated, but its actually really easy. Here's What you'll need:

Any  light color polish
Room temperature water
10 pieces of newspaper
Top/ Base coat

                                                  Let's Begin!

Step 1: Put on a clear base coat to protect and strengthen your natural nails. Let dry
Step 2: Put a few coats of a light color like white, grey, yellow, or pink, until opaque. (Solid)
Step 3: Make sure that your nails are 100% dry before doing the next step. If they are even a little wet, the newspaper will stick. Let them dry for 15-20 minutes.
Step 4: Dip a small square of newspaper into a bowl or cup of room temperature water. Wipe off the sides so its not soaking wet.
Step 5: Carefully place newspaper onto nails ans press as hard as you can onto the paper. Without moving your finger, press onto the sides of your nail. after pressing on the newspaper for about 1 minute, lift it off. If the ink did not transfer, then you are not pressing hard enough. Do it to all your nails and let dry for a few seconds,
Step 6: You HAVE to put a top coat or the ink will smudge right off. I recommend 2 clear top coats. Let the top coat dry for 20 minutes and your done! Hope you enjoyed!
